VP Finance (Europe)

TL;DR

Salary: £150,000–£180,000 per annum plus 20% discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Provide strategic leadership and accountability for the European finance function, ensuring strong controls and governance.
• Lead and develop high-performing finance teams across the UK, France, Germany, and Sweden.
• Serve as a key strategic advisor to the Managing Director, Europe, to guide business decisions and growth.
• Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting processes.
• Manage regional consolidation, treasury, tax, audit, and statutory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in accounting, financial control, and commercial finance.
• Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams across multiple countries and cultures.
• Strong track record of partnering with executive leadership and influencing strategic decisions.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities within multinational, multi-currency environments.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with a recognised professional qualification.

• Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
