Senior Security Automation Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Engineer a centralized security telemetry system to capture control evidence and health in real-time.
• Architect universal provisioning connectors for systems lacking native IGA support to ensure instant account lifecycle management.
• Develop automated workflows for customer-approved, time-bound access to specific instances.
• Build custom assurance logic to act as a continuous audit function and minimize compliance findings.
• Develop automation for secret discovery, inventory, and rotation across the environment.
• Partner with GRC and Finance teams to translate complex mandates into automated, self-healing technical guardrails.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Netherlands
• Strong hands-on background in security automation and identity engineering (IAM/IGA).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript, or Go).
• Experience building scalable and reliable automation ecosystems.
• Understanding of risks associated with change management, logical access, and data integrity.
• Familiarity with compliance automation and continuous control monitoring.

Nice to have

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Previous experience at a cloud infrastructure, database, or developer tools company.
• Experience with AI/Agentic risk engines and non-deterministic risk assessments.
