What you will do

• Oversee litigation matters, including responding to subpoenas, conducting document collections, and preparing witnesses for depositions.
• Manage and coordinate with outside counsel to ensure efficient service delivery and cost control.
• Lead the development of a global approach to AI governance and responsible use of AI tools.
• Advise the company on legal and regulatory risks associated with AI integration, including the EU AI Act.
• Develop responses to AI-related inquiries from regulators, clients, and third parties.
• Partner with sales and client services to address litigation and regulatory inquiries.

Requirements

• 6+ years of practicing law with experience in domestic and international securities or financial services litigation.
• Member of a US State Bar required.
• JD from a top law school.
• Proven experience with e-discovery and using AI tools within a legal environment.
• Experience developing AI processes and policies.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with non-lawyer business partners.

Nice to have

• Member of Texas State Bar.
• Experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940 or Investment Advisers Act.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity laws.
