Senior Dynamics AX / D365 F&O Technical Developer (ERP): Leading technical development, architecture, and performance optimization across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations landscape with an accent on enterprise-scale implementations and integrations. Focus on developing customizations using X++, designing complex integrations with Azure services, and optimizing system performance for business-critical ERP processes.

An organization seeking an expert to drive enterprise-scale D365 F&O and Supply Chain Management implementations.
What you will do
- Lead technical architecture and solution design across Dynamics AX and D365 Finance & Operations environments.
- Develop and maintain customizations using X, extensions, Chain of Command, and event handlers.
- Design and implement integrations between D365 F&O, Azure services, and Dynamics 365 CE using OData and REST APIs.
- Build and support data entities, OData services, and Data Management Framework (DMF) solutions.
- Manage LCS environments, code deployments, and CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish development best practices.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Dallas, Texas
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations development experience.
- Expert-level X++ development skills, including extensions framework and Chain of Command.
- Proven experience with full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations and upgrades.
- Strong experience with SSRS reporting and SQL performance tuning.
Nice to have
- Dynamics AX 2012 upgrade or migration experience.
- Power Platform experience (Power Apps and Power Automate).
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations certifications.
- Experience with Dataverse and Dual-write implementations.
