Senior HR Operations Specialist (SAP SuccessFactors)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; preferably based in Romania or Hungary

What you will do

• Maintain core HR data, organizational charts, position management, mass data changes, internal transfers, absence records, global e-files, and document management in SAP SuccessFactors.
• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding logistics, including pre-hire preparation, Day 1 system and office coordination, certifications, terminations, and exit processes.
• Prepare payroll from zero to gross, administer time and attendance, perform payroll controls, and process compensation, bonuses, retroactive payments, and benefits enrollment.
• Resolve employee and manager HR queries, manage tickets, and create searchable knowledge articles for the self-service portal.
• Administer learning programs, including training logistics and system tracking, in partnership with global learning teams and local HR Business Partners.
• Optimize HR processes and train managers to use Manager Self-Service in SuccessFactors, including automation with RPA and AI tools.

Requirements

• Proven HR operations experience across multiple European countries.
• Experience with HR process execution, master data management, and data governance; SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central experience is advantageous.
• Strong coordination skills across IT, Facilities, local HR, external payroll providers, and other stakeholders.
• High numerical accuracy in payroll and compensation administration, plus knowledge of cross-border Central and Eastern European regulatory frameworks and GDPR data privacy.
• Ability to write clear HR knowledge articles, QRGs, and SOPs and manage employee support cases and tickets.
• LEAN and Agile fluency with experience identifying bottlenecks and implementing automation.
