TL;DR
Systems Engineer (IT Support): Providing first-contact remote technical support for network, server, and end-user systems with an accent on initial triage, workstation-level troubleshooting, and ticket management. Location: Remote (Must be aligned with Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM EST shift)
Salary: $45,000 – $55,000

What you will do
- Provide first-response remote technical support via phone, email, and chat in a professional manner.
- Perform initial triage and rapid analysis of workstation-level incidents to identify root causes.
- Manage the daily prioritization, coding, and routing of service incidents within ticketing tools.
- Coordinate communication between customers and senior engineers for complex escalations.
- Document diverse client computing environments to ensure the fastest path to resolution.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of IT support experience in a help desk or service desk environment (MSP experience preferred).
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11, macOS fundamentals, and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
- Working knowledge of Active Directory/Entra, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and RMM platforms (e.g., Kaseya, Ninja).
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications.
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900).
- ITIL Foundation (v4).
