What you will do
- Design, write, and implement integration, component, and UI tests to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to identify automation opportunities and improve customer experience.
- Execute tests, perform root-cause analysis, and triage defects across production and development environments.
- Develop and maintain test harnesses, load tests, and test infrastructure.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to API documentation.
- Educate the team on QA best practices and industry standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in QA Engineering within a software development environment.
- Professional experience with test automation frameworks using Python (e.g., Pytest, Selenium, Playwright).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with source control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with AWS services and agile development lifecycles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office environment in Barcelona.
Nice to have
- Experience working in OS X and Linux environments.
- Background in Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and functional testing.
