Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain. The role follows a hybrid working model with 8 weeks of remote work per year outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and define comprehensive test procedures for satellite control software.
• Develop and configure automation tools to streamline the validation process.
• Participate in the full software validation lifecycle, from initial task definition to final product acceptance.
• Execute test campaigns, including planning, preparation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to ensure system quality.
• Work with highly realistic simulators to replicate operator conditions.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Interest in testing, validation, and test automation.
• Experience or knowledge of Linux operating systems and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with V&V tools such as DOORS, Jira, and Git.
• Proficiency in Python and API query languages like REST or GraphQL.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Spain (relocation package available).

Nice to have

• Previous experience in test campaign management.
• Familiarity with Robot Framework for test automation.
