What you will do
- Develop and maintain responsive university websites, including the main site, departmental pages, and microsites.
- Translate design mockups into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Manage the integration of the university website with sales CRM systems.
- Optimize all web applications for speed, performance, and accessibility following WCAG standards.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility and rankings.
- Collaborate with IT to implement security protocols and ensure the integrity of web applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a web developer with a strong project portfolio.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Experience with CMS (WordPress, Drupal) and version control systems (Git).
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Lakeland, FL.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience integrating CRM systems such as Salesforce or Element451.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with higher education or nonprofit organizational structures.
