Senior Logistics Specialist (Defense): Supporting U.S. Army acquisition Product Management Office in lifecycle management of Army systems with an accent on property accountability and materiel management. Focus on managing equipment accountability across the acquisition lifecycle and ensuring compliance with Department of War policies.

What you will do
- Serve as the SME for Army property accountability, materiel management, and logistics information systems.
- Advise government personnel on Army property book management policies and procedures.
- Coordinate equipment transfers, inventories, and accountability actions with Life Cycle Management Commands (LCMCs) and depots.
- Develop property accountability documentation and logistics plans for acquisition milestones and fielding requirements.
- Manage Performance-Based Arrangements (PBA) and support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
- Coordinate equipment handoffs between contractors, depots, Army units, and sustainment organizations.
Requirements
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (or 5 additional years of experience).
- Minimum 8 years of experience supporting DoW logistics, acquisition, or property accountability programs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing direct support to a DoW acquisition product office.
- Extensive experience with GCSS-Army, LMP, ELMS, AEDS, and DLA logistics systems.
- Must be located in or able to work onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Nice to have
- DAWIA/Back-to-Basics certification in Life Cycle Logistics or Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS).
- Knowledge of Army supply regulations AR 710-2 and AR 735-5.
- Familiarity with DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework (DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 5000.64) and FAR/DFARS.
