Claims Analyst - LHB (Healthcare)

Location: Work From Home (HB)

Salary: $14.97–$28.12, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Accurately adjudicate and process medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and related claims.
• Handle claim correspondence and electronic inquiries for assigned groups.
• Apply plan documents, claim processing guidelines, and turnaround-time requirements.
• Investigate claims, analyze information, make decisions, and follow up on multiple tasks.
• Collaborate with employees, members, providers, clients, and internal team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong analytical, organizational, mathematical, decision-making, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, customer-centric, production-focused environment.
• Ability to learn proprietary systems and work with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and collaborate effectively.

Nice to have

• Health insurance, self-funded benefits, third-party administrator, life, or disability claims experience.
• Knowledge of medical procedure and diagnosis coding or medical terminology.
• Familiarity with Summary Plan Documents and insurance booklets.
• Four-year degree in a medical or business field.
• Microsoft Access proficiency.
