What you will do

• Own and maintain the ISO27001 management system and coordinate annual audits and accreditation renewals.
• Manage company risk registers and drive business compliance and organizational risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead cross-functional operational initiatives and identify efficiencies through automation and AI.
• Manage vendor assessment, onboarding, and relationship processes in line with ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with Department Heads to reduce administrative overhead and improve operational effectiveness.
• Maintain operational documentation and knowledge management systems for a distributed global team.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in business operations, governance, compliance, or project management.
• Must be based in Namibia or Botswana.
• English proficiency (C1+) is mandatory.
• Proven experience managing ISO management systems and supporting external audits.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously in a remote work environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST CSF, or similar information security systems.
• Interest in open-source collaboration or the energy sector.
• Prior experience in the IT sector or with diverse, fully-remote teams.
• German language proficiency.
