Software Development Sr Engineer (PHP)

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables and develop features for existing applications.
• Own work throughout the software development life cycle and investigate and resolve defects.
• Define non-functional requirements and design solution architectures for reliable, scalable systems.
• Deliver operationally stable software, API-enabled components, and microservices.
• Improve CI/CD automation and customer-facing processes.
• Collaborate in a distributed Agile team and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• Degree in computer engineering and 4–6 years of commercial software development experience.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Extensive PHP development experience with a mainstream framework such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Yii2, Phalcon, or Zend.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, continuous integration, TDD/BDD, SQL and NoSQL databases, and REST/SOAP web services.
• Experience in microservices and DevOps environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and developer mentoring skills.
