What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams through managers and senior technical leaders to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Build and coach a strong leadership bench, focusing on people leadership and decision-making.
• Align engineering priorities with business strategy and customer outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural judgment for system-level discussions.
• Drive the adoption of agentic and AI-assisted development practices and spec-driven development.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and capacity to ensure long-term organizational health.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer building and operating production systems.
• 4+ years of direct experience managing multiple engineering teams, including managing other managers or senior leads.
• Hands-on experience with agentic SDLC tools and leading AI-assisted development adoption.
• Proficiency in Agile frameworks, ideally within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
• Must be based in or able to work in Hoevelaken, Netherlands (hybrid model).
