What you will do

• Perform Construction Analysis (ConAna) on semiconductor packages following established SOPs and work instructions.
• Conduct failure analysis using techniques such as SCAT, DPA, cross-sectioning, IMC measurement, and cratering analysis.
• Prepare samples through cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, and etching processes.
• Operate precision laboratory equipment, including saws, polishing machines, and optical microscopes.
• Capture, analyze, and document microscopy images and dimensional measurement data.
• Maintain lab equipment, ensure cleanliness, and strictly follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience or exposure to semiconductor failure analysis, reliability testing, or quality laboratory environments.
• Knowledge of optical microscopy and various sample preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as JEDEC, IPC, or MIL-STD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience with SEM, EDX, or similar analytical tools.
• Familiarity with image analysis software or LIMS systems.
• Understanding of semiconductor packaging and assembly processes.
