What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and observable data pipelines for analytics, machine learning, and product use cases.
• Design and optimize data models and processing frameworks to meet performance and cost objectives for high-volume workloads.
• Lead technical design and code reviews, mentoring engineers on data quality, resiliency, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and data science teams to translate requirements into production-grade data solutions and APIs.
• Implement and maintain automated testing, monitoring, and alerting to proactively improve data reliability.
• Evaluate and introduce new big data technologies and patterns to improve platform scalability and developer productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering focused on data-intensive or distributed systems.
• Expert level proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Strong experience with Big Data technologies including Spark/Flink, AWS, and Databricks.
• Experience designing and supporting production data pipelines using cloud-native technologies.
• Must reside in Mexico.
