What you will do

• Design and maintain robust first-line controls, including maker-checker processes and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Finance to ensure adherence to regulatory and client money obligations.
• Lead investigations into operational incidents and drive sustainable root-cause resolutions.
• Define and track operational KRIs and KPIs for senior management reporting.
• Manage key operational partners, including brokers, custodians, and middle-office providers.
• Align regional wealth operations with global strategy and standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of operations experience in a securities business (fintech or brokers).
• Must be based in Australia.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end trading and post-trade flows for equities and ETFs.
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and testing operational controls.
• Familiarity with AU regulatory requirements for brokerage operations.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, BI tools, and SQL.

Nice to have

• Experience with fixed income, derivatives, FX, or funds.
