What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a 5-business-day target.
• Prepare GAAP and IFRS-compliant financial statements and executive-level reporting packages.
• Design and implement internal accounting controls and manage external audits.
• Partner with FP&A teams on budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting staff to improve productivity and quality standards.
• Drive process improvements, including ERP implementations and accounting automation.

Requirements

• Must be based in South Africa.
• Must be available to work during U.S. Business Hours.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACCA, or MBA credentials.
• Industry experience in SaaS, Professional Services, or Real Estate.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• ERP implementation or M&A integration experience.
