What you will do

• Provide financial leadership and commercial recommendations to State leadership teams to drive sales growth and profitability.
• Lead the planning, preparation, and review of store budgets with active engagement from leadership.
• Deliver accurate monthly performance reviews and ad hoc analyses across store formats and categories.
• Lead deep dives into competitor activity to improve commercial outcomes for the store network.
• Manage the Retail Store Incentive Program by setting targets and tracking KPIs.
• Ensure end-to-end financial compliance, including month-end processes, accruals, and risk tracking.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally CA/CPA qualified.
• Proven retail or FMCG sector expertise is required.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of effective business partnering.
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems like SAP, TeamOne, IBM, and Excel.
• Ability to synthesize complex financial data for senior audiences.
• Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne to fulfill hybrid requirements.
