Location: Hybrid position based in Tempe, Arizona, USA (M-Th in office, F remote)

What you will do
- Receive, document, and route authorization, pre-certification, and notification requests per workflows and regulations.
- Collect and verify non-clinical information to initiate requests accurately.
- Review requests for completeness and escalate or route as needed.
- Maintain audit-ready case records and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time standards while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or near Tempe, Arizona, USA for hybrid work (M-Th onsite, F remote)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 0–1+ years experience in customer service, call center, healthcare operations, or administrative support preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of medical claims and ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain productivity standards.
