TL;DR
Senior AI and Automations Engineer (AI): Building and scaling automation workflows and AI-powered tools for recruitment operations with an accent on LLM integration, pipeline reliability, and internal tool development. Focus on architecting scalable systems using N8N, Python, and React to process high volumes of candidate data and accelerate placement workflows.
Location: Fully Remote (Philippines, Latin America, or Global). Core hours: 9 AM – 5 PM EST.

What you will do
- Design and maintain automation infrastructure on self-hosted N8N to process 25,000+ candidates monthly.
- Integrate LLM APIs (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI) into production candidate evaluation and matching pipelines.
- Architect and ship internal tools, including matching engines and data pipelines, to reduce recruiter workload.
- Develop frontend interfaces using React/Next.js for internal dashboards and future client-facing products.
- Implement robust error handling, monitoring, and cost-optimization strategies for all production workflows.
- Collaborate with the AI & Automation Strategy Lead to translate business priorities into scalable technical systems.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in full-stack software development (Python backend + React/Next.js).
- 1+ year of production experience with AI/LLM integrations and automation orchestration tools like N8N.
- Strong database fluency (PostgreSQL) and experience designing schemas and data models.
- Proven ability to ship end-to-end internal tools and manage complex API integrations in production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English for async collaboration and documentation.
- Must be comfortable working in a startup environment with high ownership and rapid iteration cycles.
Nice to have
- Experience in HR tech or staffing industry.
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks like CrewAI or LangChain.
- Experience with HubSpot or Workable APIs.
- Background in building client-facing SaaS products.
