Salary: $190,000 - $250,000 CAD + 0.20% - 0.35% Equity

What you will do

• Lead engineering execution across projects and teams while maintaining technical credibility.
• Manage, coach, and unblock engineers through high-quality feedback and clear direction.
• Collaborate with product and leadership to define scope, make tradeoffs, and create delivery plans.
• Generate forecasting, capacity, and allocation plans for people and priorities.
• Set high standards for quality, security, testing, and production readiness.
• Implement AI-native workflows to enhance engineering throughput and decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience (or 7+ years without a degree).
• 2+ years of experience leading, managing, or formally mentoring engineers.
• Production full-stack web application experience with the ability to evaluate architecture and code quality.
• Experience with modern workflows including CI/CD, version control, and incident response.
• Practical proficiency with AI coding assistants and LLM-based development.
• Must be based in Toronto for in-person work.
