Senior Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Toronto, Ontario; hybrid workplace

hirify.global develops satellite connectivity systems, including an optical data relay constellation, on-orbit compute capabilities, and hosted payload solutions.

What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of mission-critical satellite programs from concept through on-orbit validation and operational handover.
• Own program scope, schedules, budgets, risks, performance metrics, and status reporting across the full lifecycle.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, business development, and other cross-functional teams to deliver programs on time and within budget.
• Serve as the primary interface for hosted payload customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Plan and facilitate design, qualification, production, and other technical and programmatic reviews.
• Present program health, risks, milestones, and performance insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in aerospace or another high-reliability industry, including at least 4 years in program management.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience overseeing satellite or comparable system development from design through qualification and integration.
• Practical experience with integrated master schedules, earned value management, SPI, CPI, and EAC.
• Ability to identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks while managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and schedules.
• Strong technical communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership experience as an IPT lead, project engineer, systems lead, or technical lead.
• Knowledge of optical communications.
• Experience with electronics, flight software, or GNC/AOCS subsystem development.
• PMP certification.
