TL;DR

Principal .Net Application Developer (.NET/Azure): Designing and implementing robust software solutions for government data analytics and IT modernization with an accent on full-lifecycle development and system integration. Location: Hybrid (2 days on-site in Washington, DC). Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a government Public Trust clearance.

What you will do

• Design and implement data automation solutions for processing unstructured data.
• Develop and maintain web-enabled systems, client-server applications, and collaborative computing products.
• Lead projects by providing technical guidance, oversight, and mentorship to junior staff.
• Perform system analysis, requirements collection, and feasibility studies for future projects.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate integration of new software products.
• Create executive-level dashboards and technical reports for senior leadership.

Requirements

• 12+ years of technical analysis experience as a .Net Developer (or 16+ years without a degree).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• U.S. citizenship required for government agency support.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, .NET 6+, and .NET Framework 4.8+.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, and Azure Functions.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB.
• Experience with authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and database performance tuning.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles.
• Experience with Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
