BI Consultant

TL;DR

BI Consultant (Power BI/Tableau): Own end-to-end delivery of reporting solutions, analyze data to uncover trends, and consult clients on BI tool usage with an accent on optimizing reporting processes and driving business growth. Focus on building client value through tailored BI proposals, lead nurturing, and collaborating on BI product/service development.

Location: Remote role based in the US. Candidates must be physically located within the US.

Salary: USD 69,800 - USD 81,000 (yearly)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of in-scope reporting solutions across NIQ data sources (RMS, CPS, Omni).
• Independently manage reporting tasks and analyze data to drive decision-making.
• Partner with customers to define objectives, maximize client value, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Consult clients and stakeholders on BI tool usage, identify process improvements, and optimize reporting solutions.
• Identify and nurture leads for BI and NIQ solutions, including needs assessments, objection handling, and tailored proposals.
• Support day-to-day BI customer support needs, deployment activities, and transformation initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant work experience.
• US-based requirement: candidates must be physically located within the US.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool: Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proven track record delivering innovative reporting solutions and managing multiple priorities/projects independently.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with customers.
• Experience with FMCG retailers or manufacturers.
• Experience working with offshore resources.
• Experience using AI productivity tools (Copilot, Chat, Claude, etc.).
