What you will do

  • Develop account-level valuation and credit underwriting policies using NPV frameworks.
  • Manage credit limits, risk-based pricing, and retention strategies.
  • Make data-driven decisions with a focus on marginal decision-making.
  • Adjust risk return requirements and manage portfolio returns based on new data.
  • Support annual budget, forecast, and planning processes.
  • Ensure approval and rating of first-line credit risk functions by internal and external regulators.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Brazil
  • Experience managing the risk cycle for retail credit products like credit cards or personal loans.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, statistics, physics, maths, or economics.
  • Solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner.
  • Track record of delivering results that exceed requirements.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, R, or Python.
  • Willingness to learn new technology to help the business scale.
