Location: Must be based in the United States; remote-first with occasional travel to Boston, MA for onboarding and team events.
Salary: $220,000–$245,000 annually.

What you will do
- Lead, manage, and mentor a distributed engineering team while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Own the technical strategy and roadmap for AI platforms, applications, and agents.
- Design scalable data, retrieval, and semantic architectures for complex healthcare data.
- Drive MLOps best practices for model serving, inference optimization, and production monitoring.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, and Clinical Operations to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Define engineering quality metrics and ensure HIPAA-compliant platform design.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience building and scaling production AI-powered applications and platforms.
- Expertise in machine learning infrastructure, model deployment, and operational excellence.
- Strong background in designing scalable data architectures and distributed systems.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
