What you will do

• Develop advanced SQL and Spark SQL expressions for complex calculators and data extractions.
• Create and refine prompts using Claude and OpenAI for medical record research and extractions.
• Maintain clinical calculator libraries and technical reference definitions for top payer clients.
• Visualize medical data points and clinical indicators.
• Collaborate with medical staff to automate clinical policy building and case review processes.
• Partner with data science and engineering teams to support ML and analytics initiatives.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Healthcare, a technical degree, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of advanced SQL experience and 2–3 years of healthcare industry experience.
• Proficiency in Spark SQL and intermediate to advanced prompt engineering.
• Understanding of medical charts, health insurance claims, and clinical review operations.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with clinical staff.
