What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures using Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and Cisco routing and switching.
• Lead and support firewall migration projects, including policy analysis, configuration translation, and deployment using vendor utilities (e.g., Expedition, FortiConverter, SmartMove).
• Build and deploy new network security infrastructures, including greenfield implementations and expansions.
• Review security policies, optimize rulebases, and tune threat prevention to meet best practices and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues across multi-vendor environments to minimize downtime and maintain performance.
• Monitor and respond to security events/incidents, escalate appropriately, and contribute to root-cause analysis and remediation; participate in rotational on-call.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience (or equivalent via work experience, training, military experience, or education).
• 2+ years of hands-on network security engineering focused on enterprise-grade firewall platforms and secure network architecture.
• 2+ years configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls and security management systems across Palo Alto Networks.
• 2+ years in security policy design, rulebase optimization, and hardening of multi-vendor firewall environments for organizational and compliance standards.
• 2+ years with Palo Alto Networks Panorama (template stacks, device groups, policy hierarchy, logging, reporting, custom dashboards, role-based control).
