What you will do

• Write, maintain, and align complex firewall security rules and policies with organizational security standards.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve security policy best practices across network security infrastructure.
• Use diagnostics to identify root causes of network malfunctions and traffic flow blockages, then drive structured resolution.
• Provide expert guidance, training, and cross-domain collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Work in a hybrid model with presence in Lisbon 2x per week.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Firewall / Senior Network Security Engineer.
• Proven ability to write and maintain complex firewall security rules and policies.
• Strong expertise in Palo Alto and Fortinet.
• Fluency in English plus French or Portuguese (B2).
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
