What you will do

• Design, build, and operate distributed, data-intensive backend systems supporting product capabilities.
• Own and improve production data infrastructure, including streaming pipelines and analytical data stores.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues across data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable customer-facing data capabilities.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical proposals regarding scalability and reliability.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Significant experience with infrastructure, data platforms, or distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline, streaming, or batch-processing technologies (e.g., Kinesis, Airflow, Spark, Flink).
• Experience with analytical or operational data stores (e.g., ClickHouse, Postgres, Elasticsearch).
• Strong programming experience in Go, Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
