What you will do
- Mature an AI-assisted security exception and risk-acceptance management workflow from pilot to embedded business process (requirements, rollout, adoption, intake, triage, SLAs, and escalation for past-due items).
- Take KRI dashboards from pilot to a tool leadership relies on by defining leadership needs, driving adoption, and ensuring accuracy.
- Run the Security Risk Management operating cadence: periodic risk reviews with CISO/security leadership, annual enterprise security risk assessment, and consistent routing of new risks to owners.
- Own program reporting and visibility (cadence, dashboards, and executive updates) for Security Risk Management.
- Maintain the M&A security integration program in steady state, support new acquisitions via the playbook, and improve the playbook where gaps are found.
- Drive stalled work to a decision by escalating or pushing risk-acceptance calls when timelines slip, and manage cross-functional dependencies.
Requirements
- 5+ years in security or risk program operations, technical program management, consulting, or a comparable role; proven end-to-end program ownership through closure.
- Strong security risk management fluency: ability to identify, assess, own, and accept security risks and work effectively with security domain experts.
- Builder mindset to create operational process and workflow logic where little exists; set up intake, SLAs, escalation paths, and metrics and drive adoption.
- Bias for action and sound judgment under imperfect information; prioritize/reprioritize, make clear trade-offs, and escalate appropriately.
- Ability to use AI tools effectively to multiply impact and deliver with a lean team.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
