Intern - Project Management Team (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the Maryland area and work onsite

What you will do

• Support project and program workstreams by maintaining status reports, process documentation, and stakeholder communications.
• Test and validate hirify.global Platform appliance hardware and firmware builds within the Maryland lab.
• Assist in end-to-end release operations, including issue tracking, validating fixes, and producing release artifacts.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and operational reports using Power BI and Excel to surface metrics for leadership.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in the Maryland area for the full duration of the internship.
• Prior coursework or experience in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic technical aptitude with computer hardware.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to managing multiple concurrent tasks.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as network security, threat detection, or incident response.
• Experience with Linux or command-line tools.
• Exposure to BI or data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with project management or issue tracking tools like Jira or Confluence.
• Knowledge of server and storage hardware/appliances.
