TL;DR

Project Management Lead (Cybersecurity): Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple IT and cybersecurity projects under DHRA governance with an accent on schedule, cost, performance, and DoD compliance. Focus on developing project plans, monitoring risks and milestones, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders, and driving process improvements.

Location: Based out of Alexandria, VA or Seaside, CA. US Citizenship and Active DoD security clearance required.

Salary: $131,256 - $223,134

What you will do

  • Lead design, implementation, and management of concurrent IT and cybersecurity projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and baselines; monitor progress with Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Track milestones, risks, issues; prepare status reports and dashboards for leadership.
  • Ensure alignment with DHRA/DoD governance, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with technical leads, SMEs, and stakeholders on requirements and priorities.
  • Mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement in PM processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; 10+ years in IT/cybersecurity project management.
  • Active DoD security clearance and US Citizenship required.
  • One advanced certification: RCCE Level 1, CCISO, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CISSP (various), DAWIA PM Advanced, FITSP-A/M, GFACT, or GSLC.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in technical/business/financial discipline.
  • Experience in DoD DevSecOps, RMF, DHRA IT Governance.
  • ITIL v4, DAWIA Level III, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Power BI and collaboration tools.
