Senior Quality Manager (Electronics)

Location: Hollister, California, United States; onsite support of operations on a five-day, eight-hour workweek, including support for quality weekend staff.

Salary: $130,200–$241,800 annually, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and develop manufacturing and customer quality engineers, data technicians, and other technical quality staff.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers on quality matters and coordinate timely resolution of critical issues affecting operations and deliveries.
• Develop and optimize onboarding procedures, standard work, command media, KPIs, and Quality Management System improvements.
• Provide technical leadership for MRB Engineering, Engineering Failure Review Board activities, new product development, and SMT quality operations.
• Lead corrective-action and root-cause investigations, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality audit activities.
• Support automated quality compliance capabilities, including AI-assisted risk identification, read-across, risk mitigation, and audit optimization.

Requirements

• BS degree in a technical engineering or quality-related field, or comparable work experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in quality-centric or comparable manufacturing engineering leadership roles.
• Proficient knowledge of quality engineering, Lean operations, corrective actions, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Expert knowledge of AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, and other industry quality standards.
• Knowledge of PWA and PWB manufacturing principles and processes, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• US citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contractual and export-control requirements; candidates must otherwise qualify as U.S. Persons or obtain the necessary government export authorizations.

• Advanced degree in a technical engineering, quality, or operations-related field.
• Manufacturing engineering leadership experience in lieu of dedicated quality experience.
