Software Engineer (TypeScript/React)

Location: Laurel, Maryland, US. United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required, including TS/SCI with an agency-appropriate polygraph.

Compensation: $5,000 bonus eligibility, including a 20% SEP IRA contribution.

What you will do

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into software design and performance requirements.
• Design, code, modify, debug, test, and maintain complex software systems.
• Develop algorithms, database interfaces, queries, and data repository integrations.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems, hardware, and operating environments.
• Review and create software, system, and test documentation.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to software processes and standards.

Requirements

• Seven years of software engineering experience on projects of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
• United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, Vue, React, Vite, Node, NPM, and Git.
• Experience developing software with algorithms, database interfaces, data repositories, testing, and performance analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with video playback technologies such as HTML5 video, Vidstack, video.js, HLS, or DASH.
