Frontend Software Engineer (Data Lake)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States; hybrid work with an average of 2 days per week in the San Antonio office

Salary: $100,163–$152,103 per year

What you will do

• Create, enhance, and maintain web applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse.
• Develop and review JavaScript, CSS, and HTML code.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build user experiences.
• Define and integrate REST-based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported application issues and provide support.
• Write unit tests and perform quality assurance testing.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• At least 5 years of frontend software development or engineering experience, with the required education and experience combination.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular, or Backbone.
• Experience with Git or other version control software and comfort working on a Unix-like command line.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment in San Antonio, averaging 2 days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
• Previous Data Lake/Warehouse experience.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications, as required by the customer.
