What you will do

• Design and improve authentication and authorization systems powering the entire platform.
• Own critical auth infrastructure end-to-end, including login, session management, and token handling.
• Improve reliability and observability by implementing alerting, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Raise the security bar by identifying risks and ensuring thoughtful design of access controls.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate code development, reviews, and automation.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and security teams to define implementation standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production backend systems.
• Deep experience with TypeScript or JavaScript in web-scale applications.
• Hands-on experience with authentication, authorization, identity, or security infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and databases.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
