What you will do

• Collaborate with clients, digital leaders, solution architects, and technical/functional leads to support engagements, growth initiatives, and capability development.
• Serve on a modernization team to address technical challenges, deliver demonstrations, and build innovative solution prototypes using cloud architectures.
• Provide hands-on full-stack engineering for scalable, secure, distributed systems using cloud-native and microservices architectures, containerization, and API-first design patterns.
• Work with UX designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts to design, build, test, and deploy AWS-based software products that meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in full-stack application development; bachelor’s degree required or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing cloud applications to build and modernize applications and datasets on AWS.
• Hands-on experience implementing frontend and backend services for cloud-native products using Python and JavaScript (Django required; Flask/FastAPI/Falcon/SQLAlchemy acceptable as equivalents).
• Vue.js experience required (React/Svelte/Angular 1.6+ acceptable as equivalents).
• Agile and Scaled Agile experience, including planning and implementing software products with agility.
• US work authorization required: candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) and must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal/DoD “Public Trust”.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Developer and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications.
• Experience with Docker, Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, Elasticsearch, Redis/Memcached, and PostgreSQL (RDS) or MongoDB.
• Experience with AWS SAM, AWS Well-Architected Framework-aligned design patterns, and CI/CD pipeline tooling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for understanding customer requirements and engineering effective solutions.
