What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend systems, APIs, and high-quality software solutions.
• Build and optimize web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS GovCloud, CI/CD pipelines, and automate deployment processes.
• Integrate generative artificial intelligence and machine learning to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Ensure all systems are secure and compliant with strict regulations, including HIPAA and FERPA.
• Collaborate with data scientists and external leadership to align technical roadmaps with strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a similar field.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a full-stack software engineer or technical lead.
• Proficiency with Next.js, React, Node.js, Python (FastAPI), and Go.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).

• Background in GIS development.
