What you will do
- Receive job packages after contract receipt, assemble and maintain job files, and release work to national coordination for layout preparation.
- Review specifications, building drawings, and sales abstracts; issue purchase orders and coordinate change orders that affect contract price.
- Document and resolve problem jobs by comparing OSHPD approvals with factory drawings; for projects over $250,000, create variation reports and track cost and delivery impact.
- Coordinate schedules with general contractors, participate in on-site coordination and construction meetings, and schedule adjusting and testing activities.
- Obtain city permits and plan checks, and manage DSA and OSHPD approvals; review and prioritize OSHPD jobs.
- Serve as the point of contact for national coordination, maintain construction schedule boards, and update materials and equipment releases in NES and related programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the elevator/construction industry.
- Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment and installation procedures, plus familiarity with the construction industry.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical/diagram form and manage multiple abstract and concrete variables.
