Junior QA & Application Support Specialist

Location: Must be based in Suwanee, GA

Salary: $50,000–$65,000

Connections Housing is an event housing and hotel management company providing reservation technology, contract negotiation, and operational support for large-scale events and group travel programs.

What you will do

• Test new features, bug fixes, and updates prior to release.
• Investigate user-reported issues to determine if they are bugs, configuration errors, or workflow questions.
• Reproduce issues and document clear steps, expected results, and actual outcomes.
• Create detailed tickets for confirmed bugs and verify fixes once implemented.
• Perform regression testing across internal operations, event management, and billing workflows.
• Communicate effectively with internal users and developers to resolve technical issues.

• Must be based in Suwanee, GA
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to test multi-step web application workflows with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking issues and documenting results.
• Comfortable collaborating with both business users and technical development teams.
• Willingness to learn internal systems, business rules, and QA best practices.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in QA, software support, or application support.
• Experience writing bug reports or managing support tickets.
• Basic understanding of web applications, databases, or logs.
• Familiarity with GitHub, issue tracking tools, Laravel, PHP, or MySQL.
• Interest in assisting with minor software fixes over time.
