What you will do

• Develop and apply discrete-event simulation models for manufacturing capacity analysis.
• Identify system bottlenecks and evaluate tool performance metrics.
• Quantify the impact of process and configuration changes using data-driven methods.
• Collaborate with Global IE engineers to model real-world manufacturing systems.
• Support capacity improvement decisions through advanced analytics.
• Communicate complex technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an Undergraduate or Masters student in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in programming and data analysis (Python, R, Julia, or similar).
• Strong analytical thinking and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of discrete-event simulation.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data-driven problem solving.
