Senior Staff Fullstack Developer (Vue.js): Leading the modernization of frontend architecture and design systems for a home healthcare SaaS platform with an accent on scalability, performance, and developer experience. Focus on driving technical strategy, mentoring engineering teams, and maintaining a strong full-stack awareness to ensure seamless integration with backend services.

Location: Must be based in Montreal, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in the office.

What you will do

  • Lead the technical strategy and modernization of the frontend architecture with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Drive the evolution of the design system, including reusable UI components, patterns, and governance.
  • Spend 70%+ of time coding, building core UI components, and improving frontend infrastructure.
  • Provide technical direction to multiple product teams on architecture, state management, and testing strategies.
  • Collaborate with backend and platform engineers to ensure clean APIs and reliable full-stack patterns.
  • Mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Montreal and able to work in a hybrid model (2 days/week in-office).
  • 8-10+ years of professional software development experience, including significant frontend architecture work.
  • Deep expertise in modern TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend application architecture.
  • Strong experience with modern frameworks (Vue.js preferred; React or Angular also valuable).
  • Proven experience designing or modernizing design systems or shared component libraries.
  • Strong full-stack awareness, including experience with backend APIs and SQL-backed systems.
  • Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset.
