TL;DR

Accounts Payable Controller (Finance): Managing supplier accounts and processing invoices to ensure strict payment deadlines are met with an accent on accuracy and reconciliation. Focus on handling aged creditors control accounts, employee expenses, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Location: Hybrid (Watford). Must be based in the UK and spend at least two days per week (or 40% of time) at the Watford office.

Salary: £31,380 - £34,700

What you will do

  • Process manual purchase and purchase order invoices accurately.
  • Manage dealer, funder, and supplier payments.
  • Handle employee expenses and staff car payments in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain company credit card receipts and perform statement reconciliations.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and ensure timely cash allocation.
  • Manage and reconcile the Aged Creditors Control Account.

Requirements

  • Experience in processing supplier payments and purchase order invoices.
  • Proven ability to handle Aged Creditors Control Accounts and reconciliations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Excel and general PC literacy.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid model (minimum 2 days/week in Watford office).
