What you will do

• Manage the GCP environment and act as the primary link between internal users (infrastructure, data, development) and external platform partners.
• Define and maintain platform governance, usage guardrails, access policies, and implementation standards.
• Collaborate with partners to improve FinOps, including budgeting, tagging, and cost optimization.
• Lead incident coordination and post-mortems, defining service levels and health dashboards.
• Work with the CISO to enforce security-by-default principles and translate ISO/SOC requirements into platform checks.
• Maintain the platform backlog and perform hands-on technical work within the platform when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
• Proficiency with Linux, Windows Server, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud integrations, including on-prem and SAP.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from Hilversum, Netherlands (Hybrid model).

Nice to have

• GCP Professional certifications.
• Experience in retail or ecommerce environments.
