What you will do

• Act as the bridge between research and application to shape core NLP systems and agentic capabilities across the product suite.
• Own experiments and POCs that combine the latest research findings with high-value customer problems.
• Iterate on new LLM and NLP techniques to maintain the company's industry-leading position.
• Develop and deploy data-driven models and algorithms using expertise in statistics, programming, and ML.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate agentic capabilities into existing systems or develop new applications.
• Iterate on validation and testing frameworks to ensure systems are efficient and maintainable.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience at a venture-backed startup or top tech firm, with a focus on applied machine learning systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with NLP and text processing libraries such as NLTK, SpaCy, or Apache Tika.
• Proficiency in Search and Indexing technologies and working with foundation model APIs.
• Strong capability to translate research into production-grade software systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience building agentic systems or LLM-enabled products.
• Frequent use of AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
