Applied AI Architect (Life Sciences)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid policy requires staff to work from an office at least 25% of the time

What you will do

• Own scientific enablement strategy, materials, delivery, and measurement for research teams adopting Claude.
• Design and run scientist activation programs, including LSVP and Claude for Researchers.
• Build demos, notebooks, and tutorials showing how frontier models can support scientific work.
• Train Applied AI and Customer Success teams and create playbooks for scalable enablement.
• Build and lead a scientist community through meetups, conferences, and ambassador programs.
• Represent scientists internally and partner with Marketing and Communications on scientific content and campaigns.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise with AI tools for science, especially Claude Science.
• Credibility and practical scientific experience in academic labs, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or research-institute settings.
• Experience driving adoption of tools through demos, trainings, workshops, or hackathons.
• Knowledge of AI for science, including agentic analysis and AI co-scientists.
• Hands-on experience building prototypes with LLM APIs, plus strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience in a relevant field.
