Cloud Engineer (GCP/AWS)

TL;DR

Cloud Engineer (GCP/AWS): Building and scaling a robust Hybrid Cloud infrastructure and AI platform with an accent on automation, secure multi-cloud management, and IaC. Focus on implementing GCP/AWS automation, optimizing IAM policies, and developing self-service provisioning workflows.

Location: Hybrid (Poland), minimum 3 days per week in office

What you will do

• Automate GCP project and AWS account lifecycles, including IAM bindings and workload identities.
• Troubleshoot Terraform/IaC deployments and solve provider-specific identity and access problems.
• Collaborate with service owners to set up landing zones and document ownership boundaries.
• Develop and adapt shared patterns across multiple cloud tenants to support multi-cloud initiatives.
• Improve internal automation workflows and participate in on-call rotations and runbook maintenance.
• Contribute to logging, audit paths, and the remediation of compliance findings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, or platform/SRE engineering.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and AWS (at least one in-depth).
• Proven experience using Terraform or equivalent IaC in production environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud IAM, including service accounts, roles, and federation.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash scripting, and microservice architecture.
• English: C1 (fluent) required

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE or EKS) onboarding.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Prefect, or other internal workflow platforms.
• Integration experience with PingFederate, SAML, or LDAP.
• Background in FinOps (budgeting and cost visibility).
• Experience with Azure or other public cloud providers.
