What you will do

• Develop a high-performance search engine utilizing Node.js and TypeScript.
• Manage extensive data volumes with Google BigQuery and integrate with BI systems and the data platform.
• Build and optimize high-traffic APIs to ensure minimal latencies.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA experts to enhance and launch new features.
• Participate in architectural decision-making and explore emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• 2+ years of experience building scalable APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Practical experience with typed languages, specifically TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency with SQL or No-SQL databases.
• Ability to work effectively in an English-speaking agile environment.
• Commitment to writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of dbt and MPP data warehouses like Redshift or BigQuery.
• Familiarity with Datadog for centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and orchestration services like Dagster or Airflow.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks or ML/LLM-based systems.
